How GPS Verification Works

Modern smartphones embed GPS coordinates and a timestamp into every photo taken with location services on. When a property lister uploads photos, our system reads this hidden metadata (called EXIF data) to confirm the photo was actually taken at the claimed property address — not downloaded from the internet or taken elsewhere.
