1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CorrectPlace, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement to use CorrectPlace. By using the platform, you confirm you meet these requirements.

3. Platform Description

CorrectPlace is a property rental platform that connects property owners/agents with seekers in Nigeria. We verify property locations using GPS-tagged photos and identity verification (KYC) to reduce fraud and provide trustworthy listings.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and truthful information when listing properties or creating an account.
  • Upload genuine property photos taken at the actual property location.
  • Not list properties you do not own or have authority to rent.
  • Not use the platform for fraudulent, illegal, or misleading purposes.
  • Keep your account credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorised access.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Access to full property contact details requires an active subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Payments are processed by Paystack or Flutterwave. Free trials are available for new users and can only be used once per account.

6. Property Verification

We use GPS metadata in uploaded photos to verify property locations. Submitting photos taken at a different location to deceive the verification system is a serious violation and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

7. Prohibited Conduct

  • Posting fake, duplicate, or fraudulent property listings.
  • Harassing, threatening, or defrauding other users.
  • Circumventing or attempting to hack security features.
  • Using automated scripts or bots to scrape or manipulate the platform.
  • Posting illegal content or violating any applicable law.

8. Limitation of Liability

CorrectPlace is a platform connecting parties. We are not a party to any rental agreement and are not liable for disputes between users. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings beyond our verification process. Use of the platform is at your own risk.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or harm other users. You may delete your account at any time via the profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in Nigerian courts.
